Elderly Muslim Care Action Network (EMCAN) engages the community members on Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) programs. We discuss and share what will best suit the soul needs under the Adult Day Services, Adult Protective Services, Benefit Access, Community Care Program, Legal Assistance, Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, Older Adult Services, and Senior Health Insurance Program.
Providing senior care to clients in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Our services range from companion care for seniors who need daily assistance to those who require memory care. Many of these people are at risk of moving into a nursing home or other facility. DRS provides services to individuals with significant disabilities or brain injuries so they can remain in their homes.
Respite Care works depending on your needs. It is a temporary care for adults with disabilities. A respite care worker will come to your home for a few hours. Meal Preparation
While preparing a meal, our caregivers can at the same time perform other tasks such as friendly companionship and the reassurance of a basic check on the safety and well-being of your loved ones.
Housekeeping
By performing light housekeeping tasks our caregivers can help seniors maintain their independence and help them remain in their home. A caregiver can also report any maintenance needs in the home such issues with plumbing, appliance repair or roofing issues or any safety hazards they main notice in the home.
Transportation
Our caregivers can help seniors with non-emergency medical appointments to and from doctor’s appointment or hospital appointments or any personal destinations seniors need to go to.
